Poetry is uniquely difficult for the writer to master, so you should be proud you've chosen to attempt it. Even a basic poem requires creative work on the level of concept and the level of form. Whether this is your first collection or your tenth, I'm here to provide a second set of eyes and to help you master these techniques.
I have published many poems in literary magazines and have worked as an editor of poems also, so I have plenty of experiences spotting what's working and what's not working. Using age-old techniques of the form, we will make your manuscript stronger on both the line-level and the big-picture level. I offer three levels of service: a basic edit, a publication-ready revision service, and a deep developmental edit and collaboration. I'm also happy to help with poem ordering and the overall feel of a collection, issues that are uniquely difficult in poetry as well.
