That's where my writing coaching service comes in. This service is geared towards career writers who want to get better between projects and beginner writers who need a stronger sense of story.

I offer Q&As for writers who are trying to understand the industry, one-on-one discussions of your favorite novels or short stories, and pre-designed lessons based on some of the most common issues I see in writing today.

I don't teach using Save the Cat or any other handbook you can buy on Amazon; all examples in my lessons are based in real, published books, from classics to contemporary awardees. For the upper levels of lessons, I provide reading in advance of the lesson and a few exercises you can do on your own to practice what we've learned.
