With over 15 years of public/parochial teaching experience, I'm a permanently certified NYS Teacher 7-12. I love one-on-one tutoring. I want my students to experience "Aha" Moments, strengthen weaknesses, enhance strengths, and reach their full potential.

COVID lockdowns and remote learning hurt millions of students. Through tailored one-on-one tutoring, I'll help students "fill in the gaps," reach their grade levels and beyond, and improve writing and reading comprehension skills.

No assignment is too small, and no question is "stupid." The English Language inspires me-I research grammar for fun! I retired because I refused to put aside my personally created student-centered curriculum and teach to Common Core tests. I'm passionate about helping students succeed with the English Language and critical thinking. I meet students on their level.

My goal isn't memorization or an agenda; I want to shed the clarity of comprehension in the fog of confusion. I am a teacher at heart.

I welcome 7-12th grade, college, adult, 504, IEP, non-native English, and home school students. Not TEFL/ESL certified.
