Do you rewrite or edit for clarity?
No. This gig is proofreading only. For clarity edits or restructuring, please check out my other gigs or request a custom quote.
Do you format documents in Word?
Yes, as an add-on. I apply Word styles (fonts, headings, spacing, etc.) based on your specifications.
How do you charge for additional words?
The base price includes the first 1,000 words. This gig allows for documents up to 5,000 words. Additional words are priced in increments—please check package details.
What will I receive?
Your document with tracked changes in Word (or suggestions in Google Docs), showing all corrections. A final document with all changes accepted is available as an add-on.
Do you work with technical or business documents?
Yes. I work with all kinds of documents--technical documentation, reports, HR materials, manuscripts/screenplays, professional, and personal writing.
What file types do you accept?
Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) is preferred. Google Docs is also accepted. The text must be editable.
Do you create or design formatting styles?
No. You provide the formatting specifications, and I apply them consistently.
Do you check facts or technical accuracy?
No. I focus on language and consistency, not fact-checking or technical validation.
What if my document is longer or more complex than your gig allows?
No problem! Please contact me before ordering for a custom quote.
