What makes your beta reading special?
My area of expertise is in understanding the structure of stories. My beta reading often provides insight into how organic the story beats are or how well the audience will be able to interpret the story without knowing anything until reading the first page.
How will beta reading a scholarly paper differ from a novel?
If you would like me to beta-read a scientific or scholarly paper, I will still mainly be focusing on the audience's fresh viewpoint of your topic, not necessarily an in-depth review of the argumentative side or main topic of your paper.
What experience do you have with comic scripts?
In addition to my published writing, I also have a completed comic book that I have yet to publish. As an Illustration Major, I am able to visualize the story and how it may look on paper. I also have experience in writing dialogue for comics and have researched the format of comic manuscripts.
