I will create 3D models for 3D printing in SolidWorks, from your sketch, photo or 2D drawing. SolidWorks 2D to 3D conversion and 3D CAD design for printable parts.
What I design:

Greetings. My name is Loay and I am a mechanical design engineer in Alexandria, Egypt. I am an expert in SolidWorks 2-D drawings and 3-D modeling. I have significant experience working with Autocad and SolidWorks (etc.) and I offer a variety of mechanical design services including product modeling, parts drawing and redrawing, and more. FAQ
What do you need from me to start my 3D model?
Even a rough hand sketch or a few photos are enough. Just add the main dimensions, or the size of the object it needs to fit, and your printer type. If something is missing, I'll ask before I start.
Which package should I choose?
Basic is for one simple part like a bracket, clip or keychain. Standard is for a detailed part or up to 3 simple parts. Premium is for assemblies with parts that must fit together. Not sure? Message me and I'll tell you.
Which files will I get for 3D printing?
You'll get a print ready STL. 3MF file, STEP file and the SolidWorks source file. Other formats are available on request.
Will the STL file print correctly on my FDM or resin printer?
Yes. I design every part with the right wall thickness and tolerances for your printer and material. Just tell me which printer you use.
What if the part doesn't fit after I print it?
Send me a photo and your measurements. If the mistake is on my side, I fix it for free. Changes to your original request are covered by your package revisions.
Can you do SolidWorks 2D to 3D conversion from my drawing?
Yes. Send me your 2D drawing, DXF or PDF, and I'll create an accurate 3D CAD model from it, ready for 3D printing.
Can I sell the printed products on Etsy?
Yes. Once the order is complete you have full rights to print and sell the design. Please only send logos or designs you have the right to use.
Will you keep my design confidential?
Yes. Your files and idea stay private, and I'm happy to sign an NDA. I won't show your design in my portfolio without your permission.
Do you also print and ship the parts?
No, I deliver digital files only, ready for you or your local print shop to print.
Can you edit or fix an existing STL file?
Yes. Send me your STL file and tell me what to change. For bigger changes I usually rebuild it in SolidWorks, so it's accurate and easy to edit later.

The designer was a total waste of money. I sent him exactly what I wanted, and when I printed it and pointed out the errors in his design, he wanted more money to fix them. I played along at first but eventually stopped. I ended up wasting a lot of money for nothing.
