About this gig
Mechanical CAD, technical drawings and DFM. I'm Logan, a senior mechanical engineer with experience at Fab2 (formerly Atomic Semi), Lam Research and Rightline Equipment.
BASIC: One simple part from a dimensioned sketch, max 5 features; STEP/STL, editable source and 1 PDF drawing sheet.
STANDARD: One detailed part from a dimensioned brief, max 10 features; STEP/STL, source, 2 drawing sheets and DFM notes.
PREMIUM: Small assembly, max 5 unique custom parts and 15 total components including hardware; assembly CAD, STEP/STL, source, 3 drawing sheets, BOM and DFM notes.
One consolidated in-scope revision. Fixed packages cover defined brackets, plates, spacers and basic housings; max 10 features per assembly part. Source format agreed before ordering. Digital delivery only; physical work, simulation, certification and safety-critical designs excluded. I review all deliverables.
LARGER PROJECTS: Initial scoping is free. Custom pricing scales with complexity and scope, beyond these packages. Deliverables, fees, timelines and acceptance criteria are agreed per milestone before work starts. Message me with your sketch/STEP, dimensions, material and manufacturing process.

My work combines clear requirements, practical manufacturing knowledge and documented engineering checks. I review all engineering deliverables. FAQ
What should I send before ordering?
A sketch, STEP file, or reference images; key dimensions; intended use; manufacturing process; material; quantity; and any parts the design must fit.
What counts as a revision?
One consolidated round of adjustments to the original brief is included. New parts, features, load cases or design directions require a custom quote. Additional in-scope revisions are $30 each.
Which files will I receive?
All packages include STEP, STL, editable source in an agreed format and PDF drawings (1/2/3 sheets). Standard and Premium include DFM notes; Premium adds assembly CAD and a BOM. Native NX, Creo or SolidWorks files are not automatically included.
Can you make the physical parts?
The listed packages cover digital engineering deliverables. Fabrication, materials, shipping, and supplier coordination are separate.
Do you perform simulation?
If analysis is needed, send the load cases, constraints, materials, and validation requirements. We will scope that work separately; it is not included in the standard CAD packages.
Will my project be shown publicly?
I will ask for your permission before using your project as a public work sample.
How are complex projects priced?
Initial scoping is free. Complex projects have flexible pricing based on scope. We agree on deliverables, price, timeline, acceptance criteria and revision limits for each milestone before starting. Message me for a custom quote; fixed package prices do not cover an entire complex project.
