FAQ
What is a landmark?
Every feature from mountain ranges and forests to town and cities are locations. Anything that could in principle be labeled counts as a location for your order. This includes kingdom or regional names, rivers, oceans and seas, volcanoes, willowed trees and treasure crosses.
What experience do you have?
I have been designing and drawing maps for years and have completed dozen of projects for novels, ttrpgs and standalone decorations. I enrich every map with a genuine interest towards traditional and historical techniques, thoroughly researching calligraphy, inking, and classic cartography.
What do you need to start?
I need a brief description of your world, key locations, and any specific details you want included. A sketch is appreciated but not necessary.
What's the process?
Consultation: We discuss your vision and requirements for the map. Draft Creation: I create a draft of the map for your review and feedback. Finalization: I refine the map based on your feedback and deliver the final product.
I have this peculiar idea for a particular frame/wind rose/feature etc... Can you help me?
The Consultation phase is the perfect stage to discuss all of your creative and innovative ideas. I will ensure a clear course is laid and approved for the realisation of any unique feature you want your map to display.
Can I request revisions?
Yes, I offer revisions to ensure the piece meets your expectations. Given the nature of the craft, your feedback is crucial in the Draft phase. Once ink is added to the paper, minor details can still be adjusted on the digital scan version of the map.
What is your linguistic background for labeling the map?
If you need me to suggest labels for your locations or produce any kind of text, know that I am fully proficient in English and Italian. I have a fair use of French and Spanish as well.

Lorenzo is a god send. He communicated clearly and had amazing geological insights that created a realism to my map and even in my book (he must be some sort of geography professional). On top of that he hand draws it, on paper, with ink! Living in the age of ai this is just a beautiful representation...

I requested a map with "hand drawn style", on a fairly low budget. You'd usually expect artists to do the style using some pre-existing assets. Lorenzo did everything *really* by hand, from scratch. Simply astounding.
