About this gig
I provide professional building energy modeling using Honeybee for Grasshopper to evaluate your project's energy performance and consumption based on its location, building geometry, space functions, and thermal properties.
To ensure accurate results, rooms and spaces should already be defined in your Revit or Rhino model, preferably according to their intended functions (e.g., office, classroom, shop, etc.). If space definitions are missing, I can prepare them for you as an additional service for an extra fee.

What software do you use?
I perform building energy modeling using Honeybee for Grasshopper. The workflow is based on your building geometry, location, space functions, and thermal properties to generate reliable energy performance results.
What files do I need to provide?
Please provide your project in Rhino (.3dm) or Revit (.rvt) format.
Do my rooms need to be defined in the model?
Yes. For accurate energy modeling, rooms/spaces should already be defined in your Revit or Rhino model and assigned their intended functions (e.g., office, classroom, shop, etc.). If they are not defined, I can prepare them for an additional fee.
What information is required for the simulation?
I will need your project location and a compatible 3D model (Revit or Rhino). Additional simulation parameters such as space functions, construction materials, glazing properties, HVAC assumptions, occupancy schedules, and other project-specific inputs will be discussed
What will I receive?
You will receive the energy simulation results, including energy performance graphs, high-quality image/PDF exports, and an image of the Grasshopper script used for the simulation. The editable Grasshopper (.gh) source file is available as an additional paid fee
Does this service include building modeling?
No. This gig focuses on building energy modeling and simulation
