This gig is for manuscripts up to 1000 words. What happens if mine is longer?
Fiction picture books normally do not exceed 1000 words, and are generally between 500-800 words. Creative nonfiction tends to be longer. If your picture book manuscript is for creative nonfiction or longer than 1000 words for whatever reason, I'll send you a custom quote.
I have written a nonfiction picture book. Can you help me with that?
Absolutely! The guidelines for narrative nonfiction picture books are different to those of fiction books, but I am experienced in both. Send your manuscript through to me, and I'll send you a custom quote based on the word count.
I have written a rhyming picture book. Do you know how to edit poetry?
