No. My goal is to strengthen your manuscript without taking away what makes it yours. I preserve your voice, tone, personality, message, and creative intent while improving clarity, flow, structure, and readability.
How do I know if I need developmental editing or just proofreading?
If your manuscript needs more than grammar corrections, developmental editing may be the better starting point. I can assess your manuscript and identify issues with structure, pacing, organization, character development, transitions, or overall reader experience before recommendation
Can you edit both fiction and nonfiction books?
Yes. I work with both fiction and nonfiction, including romance, mystery, literary fiction, young adult fiction, memoir, self-help, Christian books, spiritual memoir, personal development, and finance.
What will I receive after the editing is completed?
Depending on the service you choose, you can receive a professionally edited manuscript with Track Changes, inline comments and side notes, developmental recommendations, improved flow and transitions, line/copy editing, proofreading, and chapter-level feedback where needed.
Can you work with a manuscript that is still rough or unfinished?
Absolutely. Your manuscript does not have to be perfect before you contact me. If you have a completed draft—or even a draft that still needs development—I can assess where it stands and recommend the most effective next step toward a polished, reader-ready book.
