I will guide you to set up a self hosted ai agent on telegram on your vps

About this gig
Your own AI assistant on Telegram, on a server you control. This gig is the guide plus a page written for you: you do the setup, I show every step. I never log in to your server; nobody else holds the keys.
WHAT YOU GET
- The Guide, 123 pages: 7 install steps, 5 dashboard menus, backups with a tested restore, a 22-point acceptance checklist, and 20 real errors with the fix: a bot silent in a group, Too many requests, two-minute answers, a firewall that vanished, invented prices.
- Config pack and prompt pack: my files and the exact prompts I gave Claude Code, so it does the terminal work and you paste.
- Your path: 1 page written for your server and your goal. What to skip, where to slow down.
Built for real on a 2 GB VPS: 143 screenshots, every prompt logged. The software is GoClaw, OpenClaw's quieter cousin: one Go binary with a dashboard and a knowledge base, so the bot answers from YOUR documents. Guide updates reach past buyers by Fiverr message.
Standard adds the 149-page Dashboard Handbook. Premium adds config filled in for your domain and your bot's rules file.
Telegram only. No coding required. GoClaw is CC BY-NC 4.0; you buy the guide and my time, not the software.

FAQ
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Every step has a prompt for Claude Code or a command to paste, plus what a correct result looks like. You buy a VPS, add a DNS record and create the bot in Telegram; Claude Code does the terminal work.
Why GoClaw and not OpenClaw?
OpenClaw is MIT-licensed and has the bigger ecosystem; pick it if you need to resell or need the largest skill library. GoClaw is one Go binary with a built-in dashboard, knowledge base and per-agent tool permissions, and it runs on a 2 GB VPS. Fewer moving parts to break.
Can you do WhatsApp?
No. Self-hosted WhatsApp bridges emulate WhatsApp Web and get accounts banned; the official Cloud API needs Meta business verification and charges per conversation. Telegram's Bot API is official and free, so that is what the guide covers.
Does it work on a 1 GB VPS?
Not reliably. 2 GB is the minimum I tested; the guide includes the memory settings I used on 1.9 GB and the numbers to watch.
Can I use a free LLM API key?
Yes, to start. The demo bot ran on a Google free-tier key. Free limits differ by model and change; a busy bot can hit a per-minute limit (15 requests a minute on Flash-Lite on 2026-10-23). Billing is optional. I did not test the paid tier.
What if I get stuck?
Send me the log line from the step you are on, through the Fiverr inbox. The first question is free. If it needs me to read your server, add the 60-minute Fix Session extra and we fix it together by message.
Do you install it for me?
Not in this gig. You run the steps on your own server with the guide and the prompts, so nobody else ever holds root access to your machine. If a step fails, send me the log line through the inbox; the first question is free.
Can you teach OpenClaw or Hermes instead?
Not in this gig. I only sell what I have run myself, and that is GoClaw. The server, Docker, SSL, firewall and backup steps are the same for any of them, so Part 1 and Part 3 still help. Tell me what the bot should do and I will say honestly whether GoClaw covers it.
How much does it cost per month to run?
A 2 GB VPS costs about $5 to $10 a month. A free Google Gemini key is enough to start; a busy bot may need a paid key. The guide shows the fallback model and the tool-list cut (43 to 15) that shrank each request from about 9,300 to 3,300 tokens on my server.
Is the guide the same for everyone?
The 123 pages are. The 1-page Your path is written for your server and your goal after you answer the questions. On Premium, the config files are filled in for your domain and the rules file is written from what you tell me.
