About this Gig
Expanding your business into international markets requires a website that speaks your customers' language and accepts their preferred currency. If your site is only available in one language or forces global buyers to convert currencies manually, you are leaving massive revenue on the table. I specialize in building fully automated, high-conversion multilingual WordPress websites using Polylang and Stripe.
I do not just use automated machine translations that look robotic and unprofessional. I configure proper language switchers, map out SEO-friendly URL structures for each translation, and sync your product categories seamlessly. On the checkout side, I implement a secure Stripe payment gateway that dynamically displays local currencies and securely handles international payment methods, credit cards, and digital wallets.
By combining the structural power of Polylang with a smooth Stripe checkout, you provide a localized shopping experience that builds trust and maximizes conversions. Your global platform will look professional and process international transactions flawlessly.

FAQ
Do I need to provide the actual translations for the text?
Yes, you will need to provide the professional translated text files for your pages. While I handle the entire technical structure, design synchronization, and backend configuration for Polylang, I do not provide manual language translation services.
Will a multilingual setup slow down my website's loading speed?
No, Polylang is an incredibly lightweight and highly optimized plugin that doesn't bloat your database. Your website will remain fast, and it works perfectly alongside speed optimization tools like WP Rocket to keep performance high.
Is the Stripe integration fully secure for international buyers?
Yes, absolutely. The integration uses official Stripe APIs and secure webhooks, meaning customer credit card data never touches your server directly. It fully complies with international PCI-DSS security compliance standards.
Can users pay in their local currency automatically at checkout?
Yes. I can configure Stripe to detect the user's location or selected language and display their native currency. This drastically reduces cart abandonment rates and makes the buying process completely seamless for global clients.
Do I need a specific type of hosting for a global site?
While standard WordPress hosting works, I highly recommend using a high-quality provider with an active Content Delivery Network (CDN). This ensures that your translated pages load instantly for users visiting from different countries.
