With a deep background in music production and theory, my vocal comping process goes beyond technical selection, its about emotional storytelling. I specialize in identifying the 'magic' in every take, ensuring that phrasing, timbre, and micro-rhythmic nuances align perfectly with the arrangement. My goal is to build a vocal performance that sounds seamless, natural, and production-ready.
My Workflow:
- Session Setup: I import your stems into Pro Tools and perform a gain staging adjustment to ensure the best headroom and signal integrity.
- Vocal Comping: I analyze all your takes and decide which takes align best to your vision and emotion of the song.
- Editing: I clean up breaths, clicks, and background noise, ensuring tight timing and a professional feel.
- Tuning: Using Auto-Tune (Graph Mode), I provide surgical pitch correction. Depending on the project I could go for a more natural, transparent sound or a modern "tuned" aesthetic.
- Mixing: I use industry-standard processing to give your vocals character and depth. Using some of my favorite industry standard plugins like ssl buss compressor for dynamics, Fabfilter for EQ, Soundtoys, Valhalla and other FXs plugins for stereo image.

What do you need from me?
What I need from you are: - Your vocal stems (Dry, no effects). - The backing track / instrumental. -The BPM and Key of the song (optional) -A reference track (also optional) so I can match the "vibe" you’re looking for.
What files do I need to send you?
Please send your dry vocal stems (without reverb, delay, or EQ) in WAV format (24-bit preferred). Also, include the instrumental/backing track as a separate file so I can hear the vocals in context.
What is the difference between "Auto" and "Graph mode" tuning?
I use Auto-Tune in Graph Mode for surgical, manual correction. Unlike the "Auto" setting, this allows me to fix individual notes while preserving the natural vibrato and human character of your voice, avoiding that "robotic" sound unless you explicitly ask for it.
Can you make my vocals sound like a specific artist or reference?
Absolutely. If you have a specific "vibe" in mind, please send me a reference track. Whether you want a dry, intimate sound or a lush, "spaced-out" mix, I can match that aesthetic.
How many vocal tracks are included in each plan?
-Basic/Standard: 1 Lead Vocal track. -Premium: 1 Lead Vocal + multiple backing vocals/harmonies. If you have a project with 20+ vocal tracks, please message me for a Custom Offer.
Will I receive individual stems or a single mixed file?
By default, I deliver the processed WAV files (stems). If you need a quick reference mix of the vocals over your instrumental, just let me know and I’ll include it!
What gear do you use?
My Studio Setup & Hardware: -Workstation: Mac Intel optimized for high-track count sessions. -Interface: Universal Audio Apollo (Industry-standard AD/DA conversion). -Monitoring: iLoud Professional Monitors. -Headphones: Beyerdynamic Studio Headphones.
How long does the delivery take?
Depending on the plan you choose it varies, but Standard delivery is typically 2 days. However, this can vary depending on the number of vocal tracks and the complexity of the performance. If you are on a tight deadline, please check my 'Extra Fast Delivery' option to prioritize your project.
