I will build a fast SEO friendly website with nextjs or astro
Luke Da Cruz
About this gig
Tired of slow, plugin-heavy websites or monthly website-builder fees? I build custom business websites with Next.js and Astro that load fast, rank well on Google and belong entirely to you.
Why a custom site instead of WordPress or Wix:
- Much faster pages, better for Google and for your visitors
- No plugins to update, fewer security risks
- No mandatory monthly subscription: low-cost hosting
- A unique design, not a template shared by thousands of sites
- You own the code, no platform lock-in
What you get:
- Responsive design that fits your brand
- On-page SEO: meta tags, sitemap, structured content
- Contact form so clients can reach you
- Deployment on your chosen platform, with your domain
Why me: 3 years as a developer in London. A website I built for a tutoring business increased client inquiries by 40%. I communicate in English and French.
Please message me before ordering. You provide your texts, logo and images.

FAQ
Why not WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?
They work well for some needs, but often mean slower pages, plugin updates or monthly fees. A custom site is faster, more secure, has no mandatory subscription and is fully yours.
Can I update the content myself?
For small changes, I offer affordable updates on request. If you need to edit content often (blog posts, menus, events), tell me before ordering and I'll suggest the best solution for you.
How much does hosting cost?
For most business websites, hosting is low-cost, and often free for small sites. You only pay for your domain name (usually around $10–20 per year). I'll recommend the best option for your site.
Do I need to provide the content?
Yes: your texts, logo and images. If you don't have photos, I can recommend quality stock images. Clear content helps me deliver on time.
Will my website be visible on Google?
Yes. I set up on-page SEO (titles, descriptions, sitemap, fast loading) and help you submit your site to Google. Ranking also depends on your content and competition, so I can't guarantee a position.
What happens after delivery?
I fix any bug related to the delivered scope for 14 days. After that, updates and maintenance are available through a custom offer.
