I am Luisa, a professional oboist from Colombia. I have played the oboe for over 10 years and have been part of various musical ensembles, such as symphonic orchestras and bands, trios, quartets, and quintets.

Being part of these ensembles has provided me with extensive musical experience, allowing me to gain firsthand knowledge of the requirements and skills needed to play in these groups and perform specific types of repertoire.

I am also an oboe teacher and have helped kids to play this instrument for several years, whereby, I know the difficulties students face when playing an instrument as complex as the oboe, and I know exactly which exercises, activities, and steps are necessary to overcome each obstacle and be able to play the oboe with confidence and enjoyment.

I am ready to help you play the oboe in an easy and fun way, and I promise not only will you learn to play correctly and effortlessly, but also about music history, harmony, sight-singing, and music theory.
