What details or files do I need to provide to get started?
You can provide whatever you have! Ideally, principal dimensions (LOA, Beam, Draft, Depth) or any rough hand sketches, PDF drawings, or offset tables. If you only have basic ideas, just send me a message and we can figure it out together!
What software and file formats will I receive?
I primarily use Maxsurf for hull modeling. Depending on your needs, I can deliver the native Maxsurf file (.msd), CAD exchange formats (.IGES, .STEP, .3DM for Rhino), or 2D export files (.DWG, .PDF).
Can you do hydrostatic and stability calculations?
Yes! My Premium package includes an initial Hydrostatic & Stability report generated directly from Maxsurf Hydromax. If you choose the Basic or Standard package, this can also be added as a custom extra.
What if I need 2D CAD drawings (like a Linesplan or GA) after the 3D hull is ready?
I’d be happy to help! I also provide 2D AutoCAD drafting services for Linesplans and General Arrangement (GA) drawings. Feel free to reach out via "Contact Seller" for a custom discounted bundle package!
