1. Can you convert my existing website or web app into a desktop app?
Yes. React, Vue, Next.js, Angular and plain HTML/JS all work. I wrap it in Electron and add desktop features like menus, tray, file access and an installer. Send the repo or live link first and I'll confirm it fits the Basic package.
2. Do I get the source code?
Yes, in every package: the full project, a README with run and build steps, and the installer. The code is yours.
3. Which operating systems do you support?
Basic and Standard build for Windows; Linux is a cheap extra. macOS is Premium only, built on a cloud Mac runner and unsigned unless you add the signing extra and provide an Apple Developer account.
4. Will Windows or macOS show security warnings when installing?
Unsigned apps can trigger SmartScreen or Gatekeeper warnings. Signing needs a certificate or Apple Developer account in your name. custom offers included with this extra guides you through it.
5. Can the app work offline and store data locally?
Yes, from Standard up. I use SQLite or local files so the app runs without internet. Cloud sync or a server needs the backend, which Premium includes.
6. Can the app update itself?
Yes. Auto-update is included in Standard and Premium and is an extra on Basic. It needs somewhere to host releases, such as GitHub Releases or your own server. I set it up and show you how to publish an update.
7. Can you build a backend, login or database too?
Yes. Premium includes a Node.js API, login and database. On Standard it's an extra. On Basic, order Standard instead. I can also connect to an API you already have.
8. What do you need from me to start?
A short description or a link to your existing project, the target operating systems, and any branding or designs. The requirements form after you order covers this. Clearer input means faster delivery.
9. What if I need changes after delivery?
Each package includes revisions for the agreed scope: 1 on Basic, 2 on Standard, 3 on Premium. Bugs in my work are fixed free. New features are a new scope: order an extra or ask for a custom offer.
10. What don't you do?
Mobile apps, games, and crypto or gambling projects. I also don't take on rewriting large legacy codebases without a review first. If you're unsure, message me before ordering.
