I will install and harden hermes ai agent on your vps with backups and workflows

About this gig
Hermes Agent installs with one line. Getting it to do real work for a business, reliably, is the actual job. That's this gig.
I run Linux hosting for a living. I'll build Hermes on your server as a production service, wire it into the tools your team already uses, and tune it until the output is right.
What you get:
- Hardened install: non-root user, systemd gateway, firewall, fail2ban, SSH keys only
- Your channel (Slack, Telegram, Discord or email) and model provider connected
- Nightly backups with a tested restore
- Custom workflows: daily digests, inbox or ticket triage, reports, scheduled jobs
- Integrations with your CRM, helpdesk, calendar, webhooks or APIs
- 14 days of tuning after go-live (Standard and Premium)
- A written runbook: what runs where, how to update, how to restore, what to check when it breaks
Only need a basic install? See my $60-$350 Hermes setup gig.
Message me before ordering so we can scope the workflows. You give me SSH access and revoke it when we're done.

FAQ
How is this different from your $60-$350 Hermes gig?
That gig gets Hermes installed and running. This one is a business build: production hardening, tested backups, custom workflows wired into your tools, and tuning after go-live. Pick this if the agent has to do real work every day.
What counts as a workflow?
One job the agent does end to end. Examples: a 7:30 ops digest to Slack, triaging new support emails into your helpdesk, a weekly sales report, or chasing overdue invoices. We agree the list in writing before I start.
What can you integrate with?
Anything with an API, webhook, IMAP/SMTP or an MCP server: CRMs, helpdesks, calendars, Google Workspace, Notion, databases and internal tools. If something has no API, I'll tell you up front rather than bodge it.
What happens during the 14 days of tuning?
The agent runs on real work and I adjust prompts, schedules and tool permissions based on what it gets wrong. You send me examples of bad output and I fix them. Changes are logged in the runbook.
What's in the written runbook?
Every service, path and schedule; how to update Hermes; how to restore from backup; how to rotate keys; and a "when it breaks" checklist with the exact commands. Your team can run the box without me.
What do I need to provide?
An Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 VPS (I can recommend one), SSH access, an API key for your model provider, and access to the tools you want connected. I'll tell you exactly how to create each token.
Is my data safe?
You add my SSH key and remove it at the end. Hermes runs as a non-root user with only the permissions each workflow needs. Keys stay on your server, never in chat. Model calls go to the provider you choose.
What happens after the first month of care?
You can carry on with my monthly VPS care gig, which includes Hermes in its checks, or run it yourself from the runbook. No lock-in.
