Do you create 100% original illustrations for children’s books?
Yes! Every illustration is hand-drawn from scratch, based on your story and characters. I never use clipart, stock images, AI, or copied artwork — your book will be unique and one-of-a-kind.
Can you illustrate a full children’s book for publishing (KDP, IngramSpark, etc.)?
Absolutely! I provide high-resolution illustrations suitable for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Lulu, and other self-publishing platforms.
What is you process of illustrating children’s book ?
MY PROCESS 1 Discussion 2 Character design and settings of the background. 3 Prepare the sketches of all the pictures and take your review. 4 Paint one picture and take review. 5 Make a colour palette from the first image and paint other images to keep the consistency in the images and finalise it
Do you also design book covers?
Yes, I can create a custom children’s book cover illustration that matches your story and captures young readers’ attention.
How many illustrations do I need for a children’s book?
Most children’s picture books (24–32 pages) need 12–20 full-page illustrations, plus a cover design. However, the number depends on your story length and style. I’ll guide you in choosing the right package.
What file formats will I receive?
You’ll receive high-resolution JPG/PNG files, and if requested, PDF or layered PSD files for printing and publishing.
Can you create characters that stay consistent across all illustrations?
Yes! I specialize in character design and ensure your characters remain consistent in style, expression, and clothing throughout the book.
What information do you need to get started?
Please provide your story manuscript, illustration ideas, preferred style, and number of illustrations you need. The more details you share, the better I can bring your story to life!
How many days does it typically take to illustrate a complete children book ??
Because i am not using AI so it takes at least 60 to 70 days to fully illustrate and format a story book and make it print ready. but it depends on the length of the individual book as well.
