About this Gig
One of the hardest parts of writing is getting honest feedback about your story. Maybe you have a rough draft and you just want some broad responses, or maybe you've made several passes and you're looking for answers to specific questions. I've been through the process as a writer, so I know how important honest feedback is.
Bronze Reading: I will read and give you some basic responses, including what I thought was strong, what I thought was weak, and initial responses.
Silver Reading: I will give the basic responses, and answer specific questions you have about your work.
Gold Reading: I will give the basic responses and answer specific questions, and read some rewrites of up to five scenes you want to re-work.
What I will not do: Tell you what I would do with your story or how I would write a scene.

Would this count as Editing or Proofreading?
No, I would not count this as Editing or Proofreading. Alpha and Beta Reading is more about continuity of the story than grammar and spelling.
Is there any genre you will refuse?
There's no genre I refuse to read. I don't often read horror or romance, but I will read them. My most often read genres are science fiction, fantasy and historical fiction.
