What is TikZ/PGF?

TikZ and PGF are like best friends that go along with each other. PGF comes originally while TikZ comes later with better utilization of PGF. They can be used both in TeX and LaTeX for drawing graphics. For more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGF/TikZ
