What are your qualifications?
I am a native speaker of Irish with a Postgrad Diploma in Translation and Editing from the University of Maynooth and three years of experience as a full time translator for the Irish government. My English is okay too.
Why is your turnaround 7 days?
I work two jobs and am caring for an elderly family member! Even if you only have a very brief piece of work, I usually only have availability on weekends. Sometimes I can get things turned around sooner, but it's just the luck of the draw!
Aren't your prices a bit high for a translator?
I'm sure you can find a cheaper Irish translator, but with me you're paying for quality. There are a lot of dodgy Irish translators out there, but very few who are actually any good. You don't want a subpar product, do you?
