About this Gig
I do not use AI in any part of my process.
This is for copyediting your manuscript. I copyedit anything not against TOS.
I work with MS Word track changes, my eyes*, experience and stay to the guidelines for American English copyediting. I have eight years of experience editing professionally.
A copyedit is: fact checking, punctuation/grammar, readability. I do not make text changes where changes are not needed. Don't expect your clean book to come back to you with a lot of changes to sentence structure or word choice. That's like polishing something already polished--entirely unnecessary and a waste of our times.
* I use no software other than Word, so there MAY BE mistakes due to human error. That is why I offer a free revision! This revision is only valid for a month after the order is completed.

Do you edit/proof blog posts?
Sometimes! Depends on how busy I am. I cannot do same day/ 24-hr turnaround for any order, though.
Can you give me feedback on the manuscript?
Yep! I can provide you with a smaller version of a critique, see my gig extras upon ordering. :)
I have a script/play, can you edit that?
Yep! I do not get the opportunity to do so too often, but since they follow similar guidelines to a full manuscript, I can edit them.
Can you edit my Poetry Book?
Not at this time! I do beta read poetry, though!
How do you edit? Do you guarantee the manuscript will be error-free?
I edit manually without the aid of a program. As far as perfection goes, no. I do not guarantee 100% error-free. No manuscript is completely perfect, even in the big publishing houses! I guarantee that I do the best I can.
Do you FIX my writing?
Not really! If your manuscript is really messy when it comes to me, then it'll still be fairly messy by delivery. I copyedit, but I DO NOT rewrite large blocks of text. Likewise, clean manuscripts won't have any major changes to them.
