I will design an mm queer cowboy romance book cover
Alice Davis
About this gig
MM and queer western romance is one of the fastest-growing corners of the cowboy romance shelf, but a lot of cover designers default to awkward or stereotyped compositions for same-sex couples.
I design illustrated MM and queer ranch romance covers with the same care and craft as any other romance cover: real chemistry, natural poses, and a genre-accurate ranch or small-town setting, without leaning on cliché.
Whether your story is age-gap rancher romance, hurt/comfort after an injury on the ranch, or a slow-burn between two men who've known each other for years, I'll build a cover that signals exactly what kind of story readers are getting.
You'll get a mood/reference check-in before final illustration, so we're aligned on the couple's look and the story's heat level before I commit to final art.
Deliverables include high-res eBook JPG, print-ready PDF with spine and back cover, and a 3D mockup.
I keep every project confidential and judgment-free this is genre fiction I take seriously, and I want your cover to do your story justice.

I design illustrated cowboy and western romance book covers built for KDP and BookTok readers, moving past dated stock-photo shirtless-cowboy composites. My covers use custom illustrated couples, ranch palettes, and clean typography that read as modern romance at a glance. I create single covers, matching series sets, and MM/queer western romance, delivered print-ready (front, spine, back) plus eBook and 3D mockup files. I work closely with authors on trope, mood, and character details so every cover matches what readers expect. Fast replies, careful revisions, KDP-ready files every time.
FAQ
Have you designed MM romance covers before?
Yes, MM and queer romance is a core part of my portfolio, not an afterthought. Check my gig gallery for samples.

Yes, tell me your book's heat level and I'll keep the cover tasteful and platform-safe while still true to the tone of your story.
Do you handle age-gap or other sensitive tropes respectfully?
Yes, I design to genre convention without stereotype, send me your trope details and any specific asks upfront.
Is my project kept private?
Yes, all project details stay between us unless you ask me to add the cover to my public portfolio.
