About this Gig
CONGRATULATIONS! You finished your novel, and that, my friend, is HUGE. If you haven't already, take some time to pat yourself on the back and perhaps indulge in a tasty beverage of your choice.
You've also worked hard on your synopsis; this is where I come in. I've been there before, and I know what works. I'll polish your synopsis (line editing) and make detailed, actionable suggestions to grab a potential literary agent's attention.
Your synopsis should ideally be a single-spaced 3-5 page summary of your novel . I won't write your synopsis, but drawing on my experience of reading and editing hundreds of query packages, I will help you make it better.

FAQ
Why do I need this gig?
If you want to be traditionally published, most agents will expect a query package from you. With this gig, I will take the querying package you wrote (synopsis, query letter, first 5,000 words of your novel, depending on which package you order) and help make sure it gets an agent's attention.
Do you work with non-fiction submissions?
I currently only work with fiction submissions. Non-fiction has a whole different set of requirements, and I'm honestly just not going to be the right fit for that.
Does this gig include writing or developmental editing?
No. This gig will include line edits and suggestions to strengthen your synopsis. I will occasionally rewrite parts of your synopsis to improve the wording.
Will you write my Query Letter and/or Synopsis?
No. With this gig, I will take your query package that you have written, do line edits, and make suggestions. You should already have your synopsis ready for editing.
What format do you want me to send my submissions package in?
Please send your package in Microsoft Word format. Please DO NOT zip it or provide it in any other format than .docx. Sending it in any other format than Microsoft Word .docx format will result in a delay.
What if I need another round of revisions?
I've added an option for additional revisions to each package.
Do you use genAI?
While some of the people around me may consider my intelligence "artificial," I use only my own brain when working on your project. I stand firmly opposed to AI in creative work, and I believe you'll be happy to know that only a real human being worked on your project.
