About this gig
Always wanted an epic sound? Or a cool take on a guitar solo that needs to sound more lyrical. Let me work my magic on getting you your dream sound into the air. I use expensive antique violins or my one-of electric violin (as applicable) and I have ribbon, condenser and direct mics to compliment this.
For viola and cello parts, guaranteed not to be noticeable to the most discerning ears, I use d'Addario octave strings, and for the cello's lowest fifth a DAW-complex transposition down.

Hi there! I'm a professional violinist/e-violinist and have performed with the most famous of musicians worldwide. Cool solos are my thing but enjoy background ;) With over 500 recording hours I can make use of directional recording and different violins to get that full orchestral sound if you need.
I am happy to advise, play, record and edit string sections (note I cannot play the cello nor the double bass [but there are wonderful talents here who can!] ;) Want to hear/see some clips, please search 'VirtuosoLive' on YouTube. Finally, let your imagination run wild - I enjoy the challenge :)
