I am a mechanical engineering graduate from Swansea University (2:1). I have completed FEA structural analysis on mild steel specimens with multiple stress raiser geometries using ANSYS including mesh dependency studies, von Mises stress analysis, factor of safety calculations, and validation against experimental tensile test data. I also completed FEA design iteration on drivetrain components, improving factor of safety from 0.35 to 2.8 across three design versions.
