Distress from relationships bleeds into all aspects of our life. This friction can cause a deep sense of loneliness and hopelessness. We fight this battle internally while pretending to be okay on the outside because most people around us either don't understand our pain or are not equipped to handle it. No one should have to go through this alone.
I'm an advocate for community and belonging. I graduated in the program called "Child and Youth Care" where I learned about trauma, counselling, family dynamics, neuroscience, and so on. I came to Canada from India when I was 18; therefore besides my professional work, I personally understand separation and loneliness all too well.
