About this gig

Your .NET app still works, but it's stuck on an old version? Microsoft ends support for .NET 8 and .NET 9 on November 10, 2026, and .NET Framework apps can't use modern tooling. .NET 10 is the current LTS release, supported until November 14, 2028.

I have 10+ years of C# and .NET, including leading the modernization of legacy desktop stacks into modern .NET. Today I lead DevOps for a 24x7 platform on AWS, so your app also leaves ready to build in a container.

What you get:

- Basic: one reproducible bug or build error fixed (up to 3h of work), with the cause explained

- Standard: a migration assessment (projects, NuGet packages, incompatible APIs, step-by-step plan and estimate) plus one class library ported to .NET 10

- Premium: a small app (up to ~3 projects) migrated to .NET 10, with build and tests passing, a Dockerfile and deployment notes

I migrate incrementally, with as few code changes as possible, instead of rewriting your app. Bigger apps get a custom offer after the assessment. Questions? Send me a message before ordering.
