FAQ
Will my new site look like my old one?
Yes, as closely as WordPress allows. Wix, Squarespace and Webflow designs can't be exported, so I rebuild your layout, fonts, colors and images by hand. Platform-only effects get the nearest WordPress equivalent, and I flag any before I start.
Will I lose my Google rankings and links?
I keep your page URLs where possible and add 301 redirects for any that change. Titles, meta descriptions and image alt text are carried over too. Nobody can guarantee rankings, but this setup helps protect the traffic you already have.
Do I need WordPress hosting before ordering?
It helps: I need a WordPress site with login access to build on. No hosting yet? Message me first and I'll suggest a plan, or I can build on a temporary copy and move it over once you're set up.
What happens to my old site and domain?
Your old site stays live while I build. When you approve the new one, I help you point your domain to WordPress. Cancel your old plan only after the new site is confirmed working.
Can you move my online store or blog?
Blog posts are included in Premium (up to 20). Stores can move to WooCommerce, but they and bigger sites are quoted separately: message me your product or page count and I'll send a custom offer.
Will the WordPress site work well on mobile?
Yes. Every page is built responsive and checked on desktop, tablet and phone before delivery.
What do you need from me to start?
Your current site link, WordPress login (or hosting details) and the pages to move. Access to your Wix, Squarespace or Webflow account helps me export text and images faster, but it's optional.
Can you also fix or extend the site later?
Yes. I also offer WordPress and WooCommerce bug fixes, custom plugins, QA testing and SEO audits as separate gigs on my profile.
