I will design pcb enclosure, electronics case or product casing for 3d printing

About this gig
Your board works on the bench. Now it needs a PCB enclosure that fits on the first print.
I design custom PCB enclosures and electronics cases for 3D printing, from a simple IoT enclosure to a full product casing. Each 3D enclosure design is modeled in Fusion 360 around your actual board: ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi or your own custom PCB. I come from the electronics side, so I check the board first.
What goes into every design:
- 2 mm walls and 0.3 mm fit clearance for FDM 3D printing
- Port cutouts sized for the plug body, so cables seat fully
- Standoffs on your mounting holes, screw bosses or a snap-fit lid
- Vents over warm parts
- No metal within 15 mm of a WiFi or Bluetooth antenna
What you get:
- STL 3D model, ready for your 3D printer
- STEP CAD file that opens in SolidWorks or Fusion 360
- Source file and product renders on Standard and Premium
To start the case design I need your PCB outline, mounting holes, connector positions and the tallest part on each side. A STEP file from KiCad or EasyEDA covers it all.
This gig is product design for the PCB housing only. PCB design is a separate gig.
Send me your board and I'll tell you which package fits.

FAQ
What do you need to start my PCB enclosure design?
Your PCB outline and thickness, mounting hole positions, connector positions, and the height of the tallest part on the top and bottom. A STEP export from KiCad, EasyEDA or Altium gives me all of that in one file.
I don't have a STEP file of my PCB. Can you still design the case?
Yes. Send a dimensioned drawing, or clear top and side photos next to a ruler, plus caliper measurements of each connector. It takes me longer, so message me before you order.
Will the enclosure be ready for 3D printing?
Yes. The 3D model is set up for FDM by default: PLA or PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle, sized for a 220 x 220 mm bed unless you say otherwise. Resin and SLS need different clearances, so tell me up front.
Which file formats do I get?
Every package includes an STL for your 3D printer and a STEP CAD file, which opens in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or any other CAD program.
Can you design an IoT enclosure for ESP32, Arduino or Raspberry Pi?
Yes, those are the boards I see most. For ESP32 and other wireless boards I keep screws, inserts and batteries away from the antenna so the case doesn't cut your WiFi or Bluetooth range.
Can you make a waterproof or IP rated enclosure?
On Premium I can add a gasket groove, a sealed lid and cable gland openings. I can't certify an IP rating. That takes lab testing on the finished part, and FDM prints usually need sealing to hold water out.
