What VPS specs do I need before ordering ?
Ubuntu 22.04+ with at least 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 20 GB SSD. Root or sudo SSH access required. Recommended providers: Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Contabo. Not sure? Message me, I verify for free.
Do I need technical skills to use OpenClaw after setup ?
No advanced skills needed. You receive a custom handoff document covering all commands, log monitoring, and daily use. Changing AI models is as simple as updating one API key and restarting the service.
Is my data private with a self-hosted setup ?
Your agent data, logs, and memory stay on your server. Note: if you use OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google as AI provider, messages are sent to their API per their own privacy policy. Basic security included in all packages: dedicated Linux user plus UFW firewall.
What if the installation does not work ?
I provide 48h post-delivery support for any bug caused by my installation. If the issue is a missing prerequisite on your end, we discuss it together. I always confirm VPS compatibility before starting work.
Can I change the AI model or messaging platform after delivery ?
Yes. The handoff document explains how to swap AI providers by updating one API key and restarting. Adding a second channel later can be ordered as a new gig or via a custom offer, message me.
What is the difference between the three packages ?
Basic installs OpenClaw with 1 messaging channel. Standard adds a 2nd messaging channel. Premium adds 2 productivity skills (Gmail, Google Calendar) and a personalized usage guide.
