I use Python (pandas + rapidfuzz), which catches what Excel can't:

- "john smith" and "John Smith" are the same

- "Peru", "PERU", "Perú" are the same

- "Jon Smith" and "John Smith" are likely the same person


Typical projects:

- CRM contact lists with years of duplicates

- Product catalogs merged from multiple suppliers

- Customer databases with typos in names/addresses


You get back: a clean Excel/CSV, plus a report showing what changed and why so you can spot-check. Premium includes the Python script so you can reuse it.
