FAQ
Do you proofread or fix grammar?
No. Beta reading is about the big picture — plot, pacing, character, whether the argument convinces. I point out where the writing pulled me out of the story, but I do not correct grammar or rewrite sentences. Hire a proofreader after the structure is solid.
What file format should I send, and what do I get back?
Send your manuscript as .docx, PDF or a Google Docs link. You get back a written reader report in .docx. On Standard and Premium I also add inline comments throughout your document so you can see my reactions chapter by chapter.
Which genres do you read?
My main genres are adventure, romance, fantasy, self-help and personal development, and tech or business nonfiction. But I read widely — if your book is outside that list, send me a message with your genre and a short summary. I am happy to take a look and tell you honestly whether
