FAQ
What is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)?
Answer Engine Optimization is the process of structuring and improving website content so answer engines and AI-powered search platforms can better understand the information and potentially reference it in their responses.
Which platforms do you optimize content for?
I focus on AI-powered search experiences including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. The exact approach depends on your content and target audience.
What is the difference between AEO, GEO and traditional SEO?
Traditional SEO focuses on search engine visibility. AEO focuses on providing clear answers to user questions, while GEO focuses on visibility in generative AI search experiences. They complement one another.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my website?
No. AI platforms independently determine which websites and sources appear in their answers. I improve content clarity, structure and relevance, but cannot guarantee citations, mentions or rankings.
Do you work with new websites?
Yes. I can review new websites and provide AEO recommendations based on their available content, business information and target audience.
Do you optimize WordPress, Shopify and other websites?
I can review content from different website platforms. My standard packages provide optimization recommendations and content drafts, not direct changes to your website.
Will you implement schema markup on my website?
Website installation and technical implementation are not included in the standard packages. Schema recommendations or a JSON-LD draft can be purchased separately where appropriate.
Can I order a custom AEO package?
Yes. If you need more pages, a larger content strategy, additional question research or a customized scope, contact me before ordering so I can prepare a suitable offer.
How long does AEO optimization take to produce results?
There is no fixed timeline. Search and AI systems decide independently when to crawl, interpret and use updated information. Results may take time and are not guaranteed.
What do you need before starting?
I need your website URL, selected pages, business description, target audience, main products or services and preferred target market. Search Console data is optional.
