About this Gig
Every BVI business company must now provide an annual financial return to its registered agent within nine months of its financial year end. The return is a balance sheet and an income statement, but the agent will not accept it until the figures are complete and reconcile.
I am a Swiss-based accountant and I prepare BVI company accounts as part of my daily work, from dormant holdings to trading companies with several hundred transactions a year.

What is not included
Filing with the agent, audit and tax advice. For Seychelles, Panama or Marshall Islands companies, message me first.

FAQ
Is the annual financial return mandatory?
Yes. BVI business companies must provide an annual financial return to their registered agent within nine months of their financial year end. Exemptions apply mainly to listed and regulated companies and to companies that file tax returns with the BVI Inland Revenue.
My company had no activity. Do I still need one?
Yes, a dormant or holding company still has to provide a return. That is what the Basic package is for: a balance sheet and income statement with the few entries there are, usually agent fees and shareholder funding.
Do you file the return with the registered agent?
No. The agent files it; I prepare the return and a short cover note so you can forward it directly. If the agent uses its own template, send it to me and I will complete that format.
I have no bookkeeping at all. Can you still do it?
Yes. I rebuild the accounts from bank statements and invoices. Send me the statements before you order and I will count the transactions and confirm which package applies.
