About this Gig
Getting audience feedback on your book is imperative before publication. Before you prepare your marketing, you need your audience's perspective. To accomplish this, you need a sensitivity reader or a beta book reader.
My name is Marie, and I have more than three years of experience as a copywriter, editor, beta reader, and ghostwriter. In my time on Fiverr, I have completed more than 1,700 orders. Whether you need content for your blog or content to market your brand, I am here to assist!
If you're looking for some perspective on your story, I will provide my expertise as both a writer and a reader.
With my gig, you will receive the following:
- ️a one (1) page sample line edit (optional)
- ️comments and suggestions when appropriate
- ️a 1,000+ word beta reader report
- ️attention to specific concerns (if requested)
I provide beta reading for nearly all genres: fiction, nonfiction, as well as young adult and children's books. I have even been a romance and fantasy beta reader for previous clients.

Are you a Native English Speaker?
Yes, I am an American editor, copywriter, and ghostwriter. I completed my college degree in America.
What is your experience level?
I have been editing, writing, and ghostwriting for nearly 6 years and studied Creative Writing in college. I have beta read for numerous clients with varying degrees.
How many revisions do you offer?
I do not offer revisions for beta reading, given the nature of the gig. However, if you'd like me to do a second pass over your content after you make changes, please let me know ahead of time, and we can create a custom offer.
Does my book have to be finished?
Absolutely not! I am delighted to look at nearly finished manuscripts and to provide some suggestions for further edits/changes.
What if I would like you to edit my book as well as beta read?
With two of my packages, you will get a one (1) page sample line edit. You can also add one to the basic package for a small fee. However, for edits for the entire book, please visit my editing gig or message me so we can discuss pricing.
How much detail will you include in your beta reading feedback?
I do my best to provide comments as needed as well as fix smaller grammatical errors I do find that stand out to me. Additionally, my beta reading report is usually around 1000+ words with detailed feedback, guaranteed to touch upon the areas of concern that you currently have for your manuscript.
Can you rewrite portions of my book through this gig?
For rewriting and editing, we would need to go through my editing gig, as this gig ONLY covers beta reading and a sample line edit. Please contact me if you want me to rewrite some of your manuscript. I'd be happy to share pricing with you to see if this would be a good fit for your needs.
I'm not sure if you would be able to beta read my book. What should I do?
Reach out to me and we can discuss your book topic at length to make sure it would be a good fit for both of us, and of course, to help your manuscript needs!
