I will build a rental property tracker spreadsheet for landlords
Web Developer and Excel and Google Sheets Expert
About this Gig
Keep every rent payment, expense and late tenant in one spreadsheet instead of a notebook and five bank tabs.
I'll set up a rental tracker in Google Sheets or Excel with your own properties and tenants:
- Units and leases with start and end dates and the rent due day
- Rent log: who paid, for which month and how much
- Rent grid showing received, due and owed, turning red when a due date passes unpaid
- Expenses in 13 categories, per property or shared
- Dashboard with income, expenses and net per unit and per month, plus a chart
The formulas are tested before delivery, and you can keep using the file for years: add a payment and every total updates.
What I need: property and unit names, rents, due days, and past payments or expenses in any format if you want them entered. No bank logins.
This is a record-keeping tool, not tax or legal advice.

FAQ
Excel or Google Sheets?
Both. You get an .xlsx file that opens in Excel and imports into Google Sheets with every formula working.
Can I add properties later?
Yes. Add a row on the Units tab and it appears in the rent grid and the dashboard.
Which currency?
Any. Tell me yours and I'll format the whole file for it.
