The auditor will ask for evidence a control worked last month.
Most companies can show the policy. Few can produce a record with a date, a name and a decision on it, which is what an audit turns on.
You are probably here because
- A customer or tender asked for a certificate you lack
- You started a year ago and it stalled at policies
- An auditor left findings to close before the next visit
What you get
- Every control tested three ways: it exists, it operates, you can evidence it
- The gaps that block certification, separated from the rest
- Policies written around how you work
- A realistic date, and the sequence to reach it
How it works
- You tell me the standard and what a customer asked for
- I assess controls and test the evidence for a sample
- You get the gaps, the sequence and an honest date
Works with
ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701, SOC 2 Type I and II, PCI DSS, GDPR.
Certification comes from an accredited body, SOC 2 from a CPA firm.
Tell me who asked and I will say which fits.

FAQ
How long does this actually take?
For ISO 27001, seven to nine months from a standing start to a certificate. For a SOC 2 Type II, eleven to thirteen, because the report covers an observation period that cannot be shortened or backdated. Anyone quoting three months is describing a Type I, which is a different thing.
Do you issue the certificate?
No, and nobody preparing you can. ISO certification comes from an accredited certification body, a SOC 2 report from a licensed CPA firm, PCI DSS validation from a QSA. I get the estate and the evidence ready for them, and I will help you choose which one to engage.
We already have a compliance platform. Do we still need this?
Often yes, and for a specific reason. Platforms measure configuration well and cannot see whether a control actually operated with someone accountable for it. Readiness percentages go green long before an auditor would agree.
Can you write our policies?
Yes, from how your company actually works. Template packs are recognised instantly by auditors, because the first interview with an engineer contradicts them. Fewer and shorter, describing real practice, is worth more.
Which standard should we do first?
Tell me which customer asked and what they wrote. If it is a European tender, usually ISO 27001. If it is US technology procurement, usually SOC 2. If both, there is a sequence that saves about a third of the work and I will lay it out before you commit.
