The Basic package covers full POS app installation and activation, linking your POS to your existing Shopify online store, Shopify Payments setup, pairing one hardware device (card reader, receipt printer, or barcode scanner), product catalog import for up to 50 products, and a single-location.
Do I need Shopify POS Pro or will Lite work for my store?
It depends on your workflow. POS Lite is free and handles basic checkout, but returns and exchanges, staff permissions, purchase orders, BOPIS, saved carts, and advanced reporting all require POS Pro at $89/month per location. During the project I will review your specific retail needs and give you.
Can you migrate my data from Square, Clover, Lightspeed, or QuickBooks Desktop POS?
Yes. The Premium package includes full POS data migration covering products, customer records, gift card balances, discount codes, and sales history. I have experience migrating from Square, Lightspeed, Clover, Vend, ShopKeep, and QuickBooks Desktop POS, which was discontinued.
