Design process
- I present 2 design concepts to choose from:
- 2 cover design options
- 1 table of contents design (matched to the cover concept)
- 1 inner page layout concept
- Once you choose a cover direction, I refine it with 2 rounds of revisions.
- Once the cover is finalized and you provide me the report content, I start designing the inner page layout.
TIMELINE & REVISIONS
- Up to 2 rounds of revisions for cover
- Concept proposal within 3-5 working days; full report delivery in 2 weeks to 1 month (not including report content revisions), depending on scope and client responsiveness.

What's the difference between a design revision and a content update?
Design revisions (2 included): changes to the visual direction — layout structure, color palette, typography, imagery style. Content update rounds (after final design is approved): text, data, and chart updates plugged into the finalized design.
What if my team needs to update text or data after the design is done?
No problem — this is common with sustainability reports. Just send me a PDF with clear annotations (using your PDF viewer's "Replace Text," "Insert Text," or "Delete Text" tools, or similar markup functions) and I'll update the layout accordingly.
How many rounds of content edits are included?
Includes 3 consolidated content update rounds within 3 weeks of final design delivery. Additional rounds within that window, or any edits after the 3-week window, are billed at $75–150 per round.
Can different departments send feedback separately, or does it need to be combined?
To keep everyone aligned, please consolidate feedback from all departments into a single annotated PDF per round, based on the most recent version of the report. This avoids conflicting edits and ensures the whole team is working from the same version.
Can you design our report in multiple languages?
Yes. You provide the already-translated content, and I'll lay it into the finished report design, adjusting spacing and flow as needed to keep the layout consistent across languages. Each additional language is priced at 50% of your selected tier.
What if my report ends up longer than the package I ordered?
Each tier includes a grace allowance of up to 2 spreads (4 pages) to account for natural layout flow. Beyond that, additional content is billed at $18–22 per spread, added to your final invoice — no automatic jump to the next tier.
How do you estimate the page count if I only have a Word document?
I'll review your Word document and give you an estimated page range based on content volume, which determines your initial tier. The exact final page count is confirmed once the full layout is complete. If the finished layout exceeds your tier's grace allowance, I'll confirm the additional pages.
