About this gig

I've been editing YouTube videos for about 10 years now, and the style I keep coming back to is clean, minimal, and paced the way a good documentary is: nothing rushed, nothing dragging.

Most of my work is with research heavy, story first content: essays, explainers, long form videos where the pacing has to hold up or people leave. So I focus on rhythm first, then polish everything around it.

In practice, that means cuts that trim the fat without losing the meaning of what's being said. Typography and motion graphics that stay clean rather than flashy. Color grading that gives the footage a consistent, finished tone. Sound design and mixing that supports the story instead of competing with it.

Honestly, I treat every project as something I'd want to sit down and watch myself. No filler, no dead air, every cut earning its place.

If you've got footage and a script, or even just a rough idea of what you're going for, send it my way and we'll figure out the tone and pace together.

I edit videos the way I'd want to watch one, no wasted seconds, no filler, every cut doing something. Over the past 10 years I've built a style rooted in clean kinetic typography, minimal motion graphics, and tight documentary-style pacing , the kind of editing that makes complex topics feel effortless to follow. Think crisp cuts, purposeful sound design, and a visual rhythm that keeps people watching to the end. Precision editing, trimming for pace without losing meaning A workflow built for YouTube essays, explainers, and long form narrative content
