Looking for an affordable alpha/beta reader to test your story? Look no further!
I will read your book and share my honest feedback in a straightforward, structured report.
What's included in the report:
- general opinion about the book;
- opinion about the plot;
- whether or not I'd buy the book (and why, i.e., what element/scene would convince me to do that);
- whether or not I'd finish the book (and if not, why and where I'd stop);
- three key strengths and three improvement opportunities;
- my thoughts on up to 5 characters (chosen by you in the "Requirements" step after booking the gig);
- my favorite scenes;
- my least favorite scenes;
- an honest 1-5 rating I'd give (and what would increase it);
- answers to up to 10 questions from you.
My other beta-reading gigs focus on detailed, usually developmental feedback. This one is more brief and reaction-focused - no comments in the file, no comments for specific paragraphs/scenes/chapters, and instead, an affordable, holistic look at the story. It's similar to what you'd get as feedback from a well-read friend, but structured, fully honest, and guaranteed.
I don't use AI or any special tools for analyses or my comments. Just my brain.

What books do you usually read?
Fantasy, Dystopian Sci-Fi, Literary Fiction, YA Coming-of-Age stories, Memoirs, Queer Romance, and Romantasy. When it comes to non-fiction, I love reading about self-help, fermentation, sourdough, cooking in general, fitness, gardening, and history (especially WWII).
Would you read explicit erotica?
Absolutely! As long as there's the element of consent and everything is legal, all the explicit content is cool (both straight and LGBTQIA+).
Would you read a story for children?
I can, but I'm far more knowledgeable and passionate about stories written for older readers (15+).
Are in-line comments included in this gig?
No. In this gig, I only share a structured report containing elements from the description. If you'd like in-line comments (and more developmental approach), I encourage you to check my other beta-reading services.
What file format is okay for this service?
Anything that can be easily read: DOCX, Google Docs, PDF, EPUB, MOBI, Scrivener, online (AO3, Wattpad, etc.).
Who are you as a person?
I'm a 35yo gay guy from Poland (but haven't lived there since 2015). I'm addicted to reading. I love my partner and our cat, lifting weights, videogames, and cooking. I speak Polish, English, Spanish, and Portuguese (albeit the last two not that well yet).
Where should I add those 10 questions for you?
