About this Gig
Vetted Pro
You finished your script and now that question nags you - what would those gatekeepers in Hollywood think of this?
Well, allow me to be your insider.
I have over ten years of script development experience at the top tier of the studio system, including as an executive for Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump).
Why is this important? Those who work in development are the decision-makers, the ones who produce your story and hire you to tell theirs. They know what studios, production companies, agents and managers look for in material and a writer.
I can bring that perspective, having learned the building blocks of great storytelling from the best in the business.
As an award-winning writer myself familiar with the festival circuit, I know the difference between a helpful note and unhelpful one, so rest assured that my feedback will have you and your material’s best interests in mind. You poured your heart into this, and I’ve been there.
I will treat your work with the respect it deserves, and help it on its journey to the screen.
If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

FAQ
How much feedback do you give?
In addition to page notes in reaction to specific things in the script itself, I also give a minimum one page analysis regarding the entirety of the work. The exact amount is determined by how much I can be helpful. When it comes to development notes, quality matters more than quantity.
If I purchase the half hour call, what does that entail?
We can either have a half hour phone call or video chat to have an in-depth conversation about your script, as well as answer any questions you may have after I submit you my notes. Feel free to ask anything, to brainstorm solutions or advice on a path forward in the current market.
What if my TV script is a spec of an existing show?
I do accept TV spec scripts of existing shows, but before hiring me, please reach out to me to check if I'm familiar with that show so I can be helpful with my feedback.
Do you do any one-on-one consultation?
Yes, you can add a half hour phone call or video chat to discuss your project after you receive my notes. This way we can brainstorm solutions and I can answer any questions you may have about the notes, and I can advise on what next steps you can take to get your script in the right hands.
