What is Included as Standard in My Order?
For a basic order, I will deliver a single MP3 recording of just my voice reading one take of your script, for personal, non-profit or charity use. This will be edited to remove mistakes, unwanted breaths and mouth/background noise. Please see my upgrades and other FAQ's for anything beyond this.
What is a Revision?
Your free included revision covers corrections for any errors, or any minor performance/script changes (up to 20% of original script). It does not include a full re-record or second take; this will be charged at 75% of my standard rate. You can add "Additional Revision" extras at $40 per 200 words.
Do you record adult content or swearing/blasphemy (Oh My God etc.)?
No. If you are unsure about whether the content of your script falls within this, please contact me before ordering.
Do you Record on Weekends?
I do not record on a Saturday or Sunday, or on Bank Holiday Mondays/UK Public Holidays. Please contact me to check my availability before ordering on a Friday, and please do not request Extra Fast delivery if placing your order at the weekend.
Do I Need Commercial Rights?
You DON’T need commercial rights for charity, non-profit or personal use. You DO need commercial rights for business use. 1x commercial rights for up to 500 words (e.g. 600 words requires 2x commercial rights). This does NOT cover paid online advertising or broadcast use (see below).
Do I Need Broadcast Rights?
You DON’T need Broadcast Rights for charity, non-profit or personal use, or non-promoted (non-paid) business use. You DO need Broadcast Rights for promoted (paid) advertising like TV & radio ads, broadcast documentaries, and any paid online advertising. Not sure? Simply contact me for a quote!
Can You Add Background Music to the Recording?
I can add background music, supplied by you, for a fee of $30 per minute. This includes editing the recording so my voice is clearly audible over the music. Alternatively, I can supply and add royalty-free music for $50. Please contact me before placing an order.
Do I Need Timed Audio Sync?
If you need the voice over to fit within a certain time (e.g. a 30 second radio ad), or you already have a video made with specific timings to hit (or a guide voice to match up with), then you need Timed Audio Sync. I do, however, recommend having the voice over recorded before your video is made.
Do I Need Live Direction?
Live Direction allows you to listen in as I record your script, and give me instant feedback so I can get the voice over exactly as you’d like it. We can use Teams, Zoom or whatever service you’re used to. $30 gets you 30 minutes, and I’ll send you either all the raw audio, or 1 edited take.

In 2 days we had our finished product, which included one revision that was made within 30 minutes!!! All in all, a great voice and exceptional service.
