I am a Electric, Acoustic and Bass guitar tutor with over 7 years of experience as a working musician and producer. My system for teaching is entirely built around the idea that,

when given at the right time small nuggets of wisdom can help a student break through the things that are keeping them stuck in a rut.

You don't need to know everything (theory, shapes, concepts) in order to be able to start playing and making music. I specifically focus on improvisation, as the telltale sign of a good musician is their ability to improvise and create in any genre or style on the spot. This ability can actually be taught in a very logical and helpful way which helps build confidence in the student as well as ability.
