A book is judged from the inside too. Widows, bad margins and unreadable type are what separate a self-published book from a bookstore one.
I'm an Italian editorial designer who typesets books for a publishing house (Industria & Letteratura): 50+ volumes taken to print. I work in InDesign with a real typographic grid, paragraph styles and line-by-line control. No Word disguised as PDF.

My manuscript is in Word. Is that OK?
Yes, that's the normal starting point. Just make sure the text is final: layout starts after editing is done. I'll flag typos I spot, but proofreading is not included.

Certo! Sono italiano e impagino libri per una casa editrice italiana: sillabazione e norme tipografiche italiane sono il mio pane quotidiano. English manuscripts welcome too.
Can I get interior layout and cover together?
Yes. The Premium package includes interior + matching cover with spine, for print and ebook. On Basic and Standard you can add the Matching book cover extra. One typographic project, one coherent book.
