Uh, hi! Can I have a short professional bio?
Sure! I'm from Greece, got my violin diploma in 2002. I have also a degree in classical harmony and counterpoint and have attempted seminars on violin and composition. I'm working as a violin tutor (mostly in the National Conservatory) since 2007 and have performed with professional orchestras
So you only play the violin?
I also play the viola and cello though not at the same level. I am also a composer and a music arranger.
I see. I'm guessing you play classical music, right?
Yes but no. It is my major and the era I most enjoy is contemporary but I also enjoy several music genres and I play a lot of rock and metal.
Sounds versatile, do you have experience on recording different genres?
I have been in a couple of prog related metal bands and have appeared in recordings from AOR to black metal. I have also recorded several contemporary compositions, as well as arrangements of well known songs and classical pieces. Finally I am the main songwriter of a prog/goth/post metal band

Precisely, my "office" converts into to a home studio with all the necessary equipment. My comic books are nearby as well as my Spider-Man memorabilia.
If you had to choose would you rather teach or record?
Being a musician does not mean getting rich immediately so you have to do a lot of stuff. If I had to choose I would maybe say recording but ask me again and I might edit this answer. I love both for different reasons and I struggle to be as good as I can on both every day
Do you have other interests outside of music?
I read comics, watch movies, play some video games. I also like animals, I have two cats and a dog. And reading books. But mostly music and art in general. Oh! I also pretend I can write good sci-fi stories!
