About this gig
My name is Matt
I am an experienced graphic designer, illustrator and comic book maker. I've been illustrating indie comics since 2014.
I will illustrate a single page of your comic for you in my hand-drawn ink style.
All of my comic work is done traditionally using inks, pens and pencils, although I do also offer digital line work as an option should a project need it.
To keep my packages fair and affordable I focus purely on the creation of the line art in black and white, so you have the option yourself of either going with a stylized cheaper to print monotone comic, or pass on my line work to a colorist.
I offer 3 packages with different outcomes as shown in the images above. If you have any questions about anything, do feel free to message me and I will get back to you ASAP. :)

I'm a fully trained graphic designer, earned my bachelor of arts degree with honours back in 2012. Have been freelancing since about 2014. I am also a naturally talented illustrator and have worked on mascot character designs for companies as well as publishing my own series of indie comic books. I am constantly working on projects to expand my skills and have started diving further into the field of 3D design, animation and model printing.
I do NOT use AI tools, nor do I support the use of them.

How many pages is this gig?
The gig is set at one page only. This allows you to make each page you need a separate order and makes production more flexible for your budget.
Are the package prices final?
The package prices are meant as a guideline for me to calculate the time spent working on your comic page or number of panels. If you contact me first we can go over the details of your project and I will usually build a more reasonable offer around your needs. :)
What file formats are included with delivery?
Deliveries usually include two files at full page scale with and without text and 3 rescaled versions suitable for web-browsing from 1080px to 800px wide all in JPG format. Also includes two source files of the full page in Photoshop PSD and PDF formats. Other File types available on request.

Matt raised his game for this one. I needed an A3 page for the Indie comic Falcon, rather than the usual A4. Matt provided a couple of suggestions for panel layouts, plus suggested other tweaks as he went along. Art is lovely, finished page is just what I wanted.

Final page of this episode of my comic. Matt did a lovely job again. The senator character is spot on. I suggested Archaeopteryx as inspiration for the fossil, and Matt researched it and has done a lovely homage to one of the originals. Stylish and intriguing - just what this page needed.

We're into the final stretch now. Another lovely page of my comic from Matt. Gave me a couple of great options on the creative interpretation of a new character design. Loads of visual appeal for the interior of the weird but elegant alien spaceship.
